Dynamic Content Editions
1. Editions Dashboard
1.1 Creating Editions
To start creating editions, click the New Edition
CTA. This opens the editions configuration functionality, allowing you to begin building your editions.
1.2 List of Editions
After creating and saving editions, they appear in a grid format. Each entry displays:
- Title
- Scheduled 'From' Date
- Scheduled 'To' Date
- Count of Linked Variations
- Edit & Delete Icons
- Status
Status Types:
- Active – Content is live.
- Inactive – Content has no scheduled dates.
- Expired – Content was active but its scheduled dates have passed.
- Scheduled – Content is active with an upcoming scheduled date.
1.3 Search Functionality
Use the search bar to find editions by title. The grid dynamically updates as you type.
2. Editions Configuration
2.1 Naming Your Edition
Assign a title to your edition using the Title
field.
2.2 Scheduling Your Edition
Set the scheduled date and time using the From
and To
fields:
- If only
From
is set, the edition remains live from that date indefinitely. - If only
To
is set, the edition goes live immediately and expires on the set date. - If neither is set, the edition goes live immediately.
Note: If two variations meet the conditions for the same slot, the most recently created variation will be displayed.
2.3 Status
Use the Status Dropdown to activate your edition:
- Default state:
Inactive
- If set to
Active
, scheduled dates will be respected. - If no scheduled date is set, the edition goes live immediately.
2.4 Deep Linking & In-App Preview
Use the iOS/Android slider to generate a deep link or QR code for previewing content.
2.5 Variations
The variations grid lists all variations linked to your edition. Each entry includes:
- Variation Title
- Screen
- Slot ID
- Edit & Delete Icons
Clicking Add Variations
opens the Variation Configuration Screen to add variations to your edition.
3. Variation Configuration
3.1 Naming Your Variation
Assign a title to your variation using the Title
field.
3.2 Selecting Content
Use the Content Dropdown to link saved dynamic content to your variation.
3.3 Selecting a Screen
Use the Screen Dropdown to choose the display screen for your dynamic content.
3.4 Selecting a Slot ID
Once a screen is selected, the Slot ID Dropdown updates with available slots. Choose a slot to display your dynamic content.
3.5 Conditions
The conditions grid lists all conditions linked to your edition. Each row includes:
- Condition Type
- Value
- Delete Icon
Clicking Add Conditions
adds a new row to the grid. Note: Only one condition type can be added per variation.
3.5.1 Logged-In Status Type
- Choose
Logged In Status
from the Type Dropdown. - Select whether content is shown to Logged In or Logged Out users.
3.5.2 Platform Type
- Choose
Platform
from the Type Dropdown. - Select iOS or Android as the target platform.
3.5.3 Category Condition
- Choose
Category
from the Type Dropdown. - Link content to PLP slots based on the user's viewed category.
- Enter single or multiple Category IDs, pressing
Enter
after each.
3.5.4 Products Condition
- Choose
Products
from the Type Dropdown. - Display content in PDP, Wishlist, and Cart slots based on selected products.
- Enter single or multiple Product IDs, pressing
Enter
after each.
3.5.5 Custom Condition
- Allows custom conditions by manually entering a Type and Value.
- Note: Custom conditions require additional setup before use.
